Netflix Anime Recommendations - AJIN who is different from the public. Should I reveal? Should I hide?

How much do you understand about your interests

Most of the movies and animations that Netflix recommends are to my taste

The Japanese animation I saw this time has the name of Ain.

It was a work that I had never heard of before and had no idea.

It's not like there's a cartoon or a director

I think it's a self-produced animation by Netflix

The story was rather novel.

Most of them have superpowers that are superior to the average person.

Ahin means someone else

It means someone out of the ordinary.

It's not that the kids who are found sometimes have special abilities

You become a man who never dies.

If killed, it comes back to life immediately.

Also, a significant body is restored.

The incident that occurs due to the appearance of such people is dealt with.

I will not comment further on the content because it can be a spoiler.

If you look at Japanese cartoons and movies, there are a lot of developments like this.

The main character or very few people become something different from the average person,

Others reject and fear the minority.

Those few people run away and hide away from the exclusion of others.

There are times when there are happy endings with reconciliation between them

Or, in some cases, if one side is unilaterally destroyed due to continued confrontation, it may end.

Japanese people tend to be heavily influenced by public sentiment.

Of course, Korea is similar.

But people in the United States or Europe are not

So there are not many movies or dramas they have made that develop stories on these topics.

They are different from others

It's not something to be afraid of, it's not something to hide, it's not something to be ostracized.

But in societies like Japan and Korea

The fact that I am different from others is often highlighted as a disadvantage, not an advantage.

I don't know where it started with the idea of the artist who wrote "Ein."

Most people think to themselves, "I'm different from others."

I can't confidently reveal it on the outside

I live in a mask saying that I'm just like you.

There are people who overcome the fear and show their personality

Some people can't do it and live forever as one of the public.

The reason why these themes are repeated in Japanese movies and animations is because

The society of Japan wants to show their individuality, but they can't

So I think that the frustration and problem consciousness are continuously melted and expressed in the work.

Any society or art points out its social problems.

And when that problem is solved, those kinds of works no longer appear.

A story about equality between men and women or about racism

It's the same as such things becoming less and less manufactured.

We're not just exposed to and consumed by pop culture, we're just enjoying it

It is also necessary to feel what problems are deeply underlying in that society right now.

And it is also necessary to put the will to change it in the same mind.

What is the problem in the world you live in now?
