Here is today's black tea recommendation.
I chose the one that would be great to drink during the chilly weather.
The name of this black tea is <KUSMI TEA - PRINCE VLADIMIR>.
It's a French brand tea and known as one of the premium level luxurious black tea brands.
However, the company was first established in Russia 140 years ago, so they maintain their traditional Russian blending style.
As you can see from its name such as “Prince Vladimir" or "Anastasia", it's clearly revealing the Russian root.
Its name value is pretty high, and so is the price. :-(
However, it's quite affordable for people with light purses since they're selling it in small quantity with 4 different kinds in one set.
In Korea, they're selling it in Shihsegae department store on the basement floor.
The characteristic of the premium level brands such as Mariage Freres or Harrods is that their scent is overwhelmingly superior compare to others. Even if you've accidentally over brew them, you won't taste almost any bitterness.
It feels very soft in the mouth and feels very clean after swallowing it. It only leaves tranquil scent.
Today, I have brewed for about 5 minutes with 250g of boiling water and 3g of tea leaf in the filter.
I think the scent is richer when brewed without the filter. I should brew without the filter next time when I'm using the tea pot.
PRINCE VLADIMIR smells bit like refreshing fruits and sweet nuts.
There are some people who don't like French teas because its added-scents smell like cosmetics or colognes.
If so, do not drink the tea when it's hot. Wait until it's cooled down and you will be able to drink it more easily as the scent has weakened by then and only gentle flavor will be left in your mouth.
As this tea is already rich with fruit scent and almost no bitterness of tannin, adding lemon or milk won't be a good idea.
Please drink it in its natural flavor.
The color is not too dark.
I think white color tea cups would be a good match as the color is very bright scarlet.
You will mostly enjoy this tea sitting on a terrace in cool fall weather.
