Black tea recommendation / KUSMI TEA - EARL GREY

Here is today's black tea recommendation.

There was gentle breeze outside this afternoon, I felt like drinking nice black tea that would be a good match for this weather.

I was going through my tea box and came across KUSMI TEA - EARL GREY.

So I chose great tea cups which will be quite suitable for great tea. :-)

The package looked luxurious like other Kusmi teas.  It seemed like they paid close attention to each small tea bags as well.
I believe I mentioned this in other posting; there are some people who think tea bags are low grades and tea leaves in the tin cans are high grades.  However, this is not true at all.
The packaging totally depends on consumers' drinking habits or convenience of it.  The quality of the product is totally irrelevant.
The premium brand like Kusmi would not produce any low quality black teas, so even if the products are in tea bags you will be able to enjoy the highest quality products.

The tea bag's material is also nicely trimmed.
And there is a recipe on the back side of each tea bag.
 3~4 minutes in 85~90°C water.
I have brewed for 4 minutes.

I started to smell the scent about a minute later.
Earl Grey is a typical and a general scent-added black tea blends that any black tea making brands would produce.
There is a saying in Korea that "If Kimchi in that restaurant is delicious, then other menus will be delicious as well."  Likewise, you can tell the level of its blending skill in general once you try the Earl Grey of that brand.
Earl Grey was named after Charles Grey.  He was travelling China and came across one unforgettable tea that tasted so good and then tried to make the same tea by blending different ingredients, and this is how Earl Grey was born.  Oil extracted from oranges called bergamot is the major ingredient of Earl Grey, but each brand has its own method that differentiates itself from other brands.
Kusmi's Earl Grey's added scent is not as strong as other brands.
When you keep the tea water in your mouth, you will be able to taste a bit of sourness and fresh fruit.
I think they used premium level Darjeeling as a base ingredient since I was able to taste green grapes from it.
This tea is very classic scent-added black tea, but the added scents are not strong enough to bother Earl Grey's original taste.
So, if you've blind-tested this tea you would've mistook it for a straight tea.
I think this was possible because they used the top class black tea for blending.
It leaves very pleasant and refreshing aftertaste long after I finished drinking it.
It was a nice tea to drink in spring. :-)
